PRGF does not require a large volume
of blood.
PRGF is obtained from between 5 and 40 cm3 of a patient’s own blood, which can be drawn in the dental office or in an outpatient environment.
PRGF is a concentrate of growth factors with a minimum concentration of pro-inflammatory interleukines. The technique for obtaining PRGF does not use any hemoderivative product of animal origin (bovine thrombin, etc.). Since the exact timing of the release of growth factors is known in the PRGF System, we know which growth factors, what concentration, and the positive effects of each contribute to the regenerative process.
